Walled Garden House

The Walled Garden House will be a new house in the grounds of a Grade II Listed Building near Guildford, Surrey. 

​

The main living areas are designed to open direct to the landscape with strong visual and physical connections between interior and exterior spaces. 

 

The proposed landscape design will adopt natural forms and a variety of flora and fauna alongside large trees. These organic forms are designed to contrast with the purer geometry and straight lines of the built form.

The aspiration will be to design the house to the most exacting efficiency standards to ensure the design is in tune with a low carbon future. A combination of passive and active design methods are proposed to ensure this.
