Located in the heart of the Portman Estate conservation area, the George Blandford Estate is formed from a terrace of Georgian houses converted into a series of boutique office spaces. Working around the estate occupants, we have developed a program of gradual refurbishment that revitalises the buildings without disruption to existing tenancies.

The project involved the refurbishment of the buildings to modernise appearance and bring them up to contemporary standards. This included adapting existing flat roof space into useable terraces, modernising amenity facilities and reception areas and developing a pattern for workspaces that are quickly ready to use. Rather then let the office space in cat-A condition, the decision was made to develop a turn-key design with simple custom options that allowed new tenants to occupy quickly and adapt spaces as required.

The refurbishment has resulted a noticeable increase in value with the refinished spaces letting quickly at premium rents.
